PMMI, the Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, had relocated its headquarters from Reston, Va., to nearby Herndon in a move meant to provide more space for the growing organization.
PMMI has entered into a long-term lease for 28,656-square-feet of office space at 12930 Worldgate Drive in the Worldgate office park in Herndon, according to a statement by the commercial real estate firm Savills, which represented the association in lease negotiations. The group will occupy the entire second floor of the 193,138 square-foot building.
The association was previously located at 11911 Freedom Drive in Reston but had outgrown its space, according to Savills. It also wanted a new home that better reflected its mission and would benefit is members.
"We pride ourselves on how best we can support our members and the industry as a whole," PMMI CEO Jim Pittas said in a statement. "Recent growth rates demonstrate our commitment to the industry and willingness to invest in staff to continue to expand our offerings to ensure we are equipping our members and thus the industry to conduct business in a competitive market."
Savills Senior Managing Director Nicole Miller, Senior Managing Director Demetri Koutrouvelis and Assistant Director Tomi Beightol represented PMMI in the relocation search and lease negotiations. http://bit.ly/2O9JvBz
